As you are probably aware by now we have taken over Estancia Vik in full for the celebrations this weekend with extra rooms as well scattered at Playa Vik, Bahia Vik, and Posada Del Faro. Estancia Vik will function as the base camp for most events, but the shuttle buses which will be working full time throughout the weekend can pick you up from any of the accommodations throughout José Ignacio or venues like La Huella.

Please note that all the Vik properties are sister properties so wherever you are staying feel free to use any of the sister facilities. Fancy a horseback ride at Estancia or fishing in the river? Fancy lounging by the pool at Playa Vik or lunch at La Suzanna at Bahia? No problem - just ask the front desk to book you and shuttle you!

We have also rented a house in José Ignacio as the Base Camp in town - Poolhouse! (Please see attached google map link). Drop in any time for snacks, supplies, a dip in the pool, a shuttle, concierge services or to lounge and socialize - open throughout the whole weekend and at your disposal.

From Punta del Este take route #10. At the roundabout that leads to José Ignacio, turn right and in about 100/150 meters you will find the house on the right from the main street - Calle Saenz Martinez. It is a big grey house - the Poolhouse is next to it.

Many say that Punta is the Hamptons or St Tropez of South America. That's not entirely the case. The similarity is that there are beach houses that are only used seasonally and prices are outrageous in high season. The differences are that José Ignacio is in a developing country so there are rough edges amongst the luxury. You are off the grid and chic-bohemian reigns. You can find a donkey cart parked beside a lambo.
